The Woodman Inn has stood at the centre of Burneston village life since the 1700s — originally serving travellers on the old coaching routes that cut through the North Yorkshire countryside. Long before the A1 existed, weary horses were rested here, coaches were changed, and locals gathered around the same hearth that still warms the bar today.
